Movement Games are a great way to encourage gross motor skill development! Great for use in groups or individually. Through the use of Movement Games, the following will be encouraged:
Look at the “Arctic Animal: Movement Chart†to determine how you will move to place that animal on the empty Arctic Scene. Be careful to put the animal in the correct location.
Child is to collect all the seals! Includes detailed instructions and game pieces.
Child is to collect all the swimmers and save them from the sharks! Includes detailed instructions and game pieces.
Child is to collect all the ANTS to keep the picnic safe! Includes detailed instructions and game pieces.

Addresses: Helps to improve a child’s ability to follow directions. Helps to improves strength and endurance. Helps to improve a child’s gross motor control. Helps to improve bilateral coordination.
Walk like a "doodle bug" and collect the bugs!
Select a card and complete that body movement.
Follow the directions to move like Zoo animals and color the Zoo picture.
Move your body like that dinosaur to the cup. Find that dinosaur and feed him his food.
Move your body like that pet to the cup. Find that pet and feed him his food.
Child selects an Action Card. This will determine how he/she will move through the course. Child selects one “Pet Home Cardâ€. He/she will carry that card on the course to the end to find the corresponding pet. Once at the end point, select the corresponding “Pet Card†and place it on the “Pet Home Card†that he/she has been carrying. Leave this completed card at the end location. Turn around and repeat the actions until he/she gets to the start point. Repeat steps 1-5 for all cards.
